Application & Performance

Application & Performance

The number of grinding modules varies from 2 to 12, according to customer requirements. All modules can be adjusted independently of one another via a computer-controlled grinding process. All actuators and drives operate pneumatically or electrically, which minimises the fire risk and makes a significant contribution to environmental protection. The machines operate self-sufficiently via an attached generator wagon. Optionally, the machines can be equipped with a laser measuring system for rail transverse-profile measurement, a fire-water system and the capability for automatic turnout grinding. Handling, e.g. on-tracking/off-tracking of the machines, can be carried out as required, for example with a built-in lift truck, loading ramp or loading arm.
