From circuit diagram to running system – step by step

  • Assembling electrical systems

    You learn the proper placing of components, control cabinet construction and the precise wiring of systems for our track-building machines weighing up to 84 tonnes.

  • Testing and measuring systems

    Using state-of-the-art testing and measuring tools, you check electrical lines and functions to ensure that everything runs flawlessly.

  • Maintenance & servicing

    You systematically track down faults, keep the systems in good condition and properly replace wear parts in the industrial equipment.

What is the difference from the Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering?

The industrial electrician apprenticeship lasts only 2 years and focuses purely on the hands-on practice of assembly and testing. The Electronics Technician apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years and goes even deeper into software and programming. The brilliant thing at L&S: after the 2 years you can simply upgrade and add the Electronics Technician qualification straight away!

Yes, absolutely! Right at the start of your apprenticeship we kit you out completely with high-quality work clothing and your personal protective equipment. In our production area you work exclusively with professional measuring devices and tools.
